So much love for these two!!
Andie + Mikal opened up their home to me (a stranger, someone they had never ever met before?!) when Andie saw that I was coming to Oregon! She immediately booked a session with me since I would be there around the time of their first anniversary, and let me stay with them and their cutest little happy pup Sawyer (almost stole him).

Loved loved loved getting to know these two and their silly personalities over the course of the few days I was there. They even made me all sorts of yummy (healthy, bonus) meals. So grateful for them! These two got married just a year ago (their anni was two days ago so happy belated anniversary to them!!), and wanted pictures to capture them in the happiest, silliest, care-free state that they are in together after their first year. These two just radiate light and positivity off of each other and fit together so perfectly its insane.

We set out for the perfect desert, sunny adventure to one of Andie’s all time favorite spots— Smith Rock. Oregon is full of lush green forests + waterfalls, but it’s also full of incredible jaw-dropping desert spaces + rock formations and I’m so stoked that they wanted something that fit who they were, even if it meant driving a few hours 😉 Those are the best times, right? We stopped for tacos along the way in Bend and made our way to this incredible place. We ran around for hours down by the river and stood on rocks above canyons while the sun dipped behind the peaks, laughed to no end when Andie kicked the glasses off Mikal’s face and had the best time everrr.

So grateful for these two, their hearts, and their sweet hospitality. Love that this job brings me new friendships!
