These two!! I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of Sarah + Karsten’s engagements, intimate wedding along the coast of Big Sur, and now a little anniversary winter session just for the heck of it! This winter anniversary session in McCall, Idaho seriously felt like we were just hanging out as old friends. That’s one of the absolute best parts to this job. When a couple trusts me and loves my work enough to book me for not only their engagements and their wedding, but the moments in life that happen after that too. Whether that be an adventurous anniversary session, or just because. Or the next milestones in life of maternity + newborn. I’m so grateful for these two and that they’ve trusted me with it all, AND KEEP COMING BACK. I always get so bummed because after the engagements + wedding, there usually isn’t another planned session! So now especially after having a fun winter wonderland shoot with these two, I’m racking my brain for whats next so we can hang again?!

Aren’t they actual models? These two are so talented and so fun to be around, every session we have is always memorable. This one especially because we were struggling HARD to stay above the 4 foot deep snow. We ran around McCall chasing river streams and snuggling up on snow banks. We ended on the frozen lake as a HUGE snowstorm rolled in and it was a complete white out! You can usually see mountains in the distance but you could hardly see 8 feet in front of you this day! It was beyond perfect, because that’s what these two were dreaming of! A winter wonderland back in one of their favorite places in Idaho. They moved to Texas after their wedding so a true Idaho session was needed!
