Sawtooth Mountains Idaho Summer Engagement Session || Bridget + Joe

Bridget + Joe’s engagements up in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho were so fun, laid back, and what every mountain engagement session should consist of?! A little bit of exploring, epic views, and of course, a pup 🙂

These two found me through another one of my bride + grooms from last year, and coming from them— I immediately knew that we would all get along. Bridget + Joe live in Sun Valley which is just a about an hour away from the Sawtooth Wilderness, where we chose to do their engagements and where there wedding will be at next year! (Which I am already counting the days down until!) Chase and I met up with Bridget + Joe during the weekend that we camped out in our 4Runner up there, the same weekend I had another engagement session (Hannah + Chase). So to say this was one of the best weekends of the summer is definitely an understatement! I got to explore the mountains with not one but TWO of my favorite couples for next year, AND camp out and hike with my husband + pup for a few days in my favorite mountain range?? Life doesn’t get much better than that!

On the day of their engagements, it of course just so happened that it was pretty stormy! But, storm or not, we were making these happen! It didn’t matter because we knew we would have fun regardless. The skies opened up literally minutes before we met up to make our way back onto one of the trailheads that led us to the epic view you see below. Bridget had told me from the beginning that Baylie (their adorable little pup) wasn’t a fan of pictures, and it would be a miracle if we could get some good ones of her. They originally weren’t going to bring her because of this, BUT, I’m so freaking glad they did because she was a model dog all evening?! That’s what a few little dog treats stuffed into the pockets of my overalls will do 😉 So, future bride + grooms with doggos, don’t worry. I got you, and your pup 😉

It was such a perfect evening exploring some of their and our favorite mountain range. Starting at this epic view point and making our way over to their favorite bridge and serene place in Stanley, Idaho. I absolutely cannot wait to hang with these two + all their family and friends next year for their wedding in Stanley!
