Anniversary Getaway to Oregon || Brooke + Joshua

Immediately felt like friends with these two the second we met up. Brooke and Josh are two of those people who you just want to surround yourself with. They radiate pure love and joy, and it was such a blast getting to know the both of them and running around the peaks of Oregon celebrating their love. Brooke reached out to me December of 2018 (seems like a LIFETIME ago), and wanted her birthday/Christmas gift to be an anniversary session with me :’) So, we got to planning!! These two live in California, but were down for an adventure somewhere in the middle of us— so what perfect place than a little anniversary getaway to Oregon?!

These two had been married for four years when their session rolled around August of this year. What better way to celebrate four years together?! We chose a place none of us had ever been before, and it was literally breathtaking. We ran around open fields overlooking layers and layers of mountains as the sun disappeared, and Brooke and Josh just loved on each other all night. Seriously they’re so obsessed with each other it makes my heart so happy. Of course that makes it easy to photograph them, but more than that, you know just how comfortable they are with one another. It goes to show how much they know each other and how strong their love for one another is. They weren’t afraid to be themselves in front of each other nor two (Chase joined us!!) people they had just met. It made for the BEST night. Love these two and this evening so much! Dreaming of being back here and hanging with them all over again!
