Lakeside McCall Idaho Wedding || Alyssa + Waco

These two— so excited to share their day. I first met Alyssa when a couple winters ago when she came into a little pop up wedding vendor night at Wildflower Floral. I had my little booth set up and we began chatting about how she was recently engaged and they were planning their wedding for 2019. Which was a ways away, but either way— was so excited to continue chatting with her because she seemed like the SWEETEST, and trendiest little soul. A couple months went by after this pop up night and Alyssa had connected me about their engagements! Seriously was so excited to hear from them. haha.

We planned their engagements for that upcoming summer of 2018 (check them out here!) and it was the funnest evening in the mountains with these two. We listened to lots of throwback music, and I was all there for it. They hadn’t officially booked me for their wedding at that time, so my fingers were crossed very tight that soon after they would— and they did :’). Months of planning, chatting, meeting up over tapas and catching up— and their day was finally here.

Alyssa and Waco got married at a family cabin they’ve spent so much time at in McCall, Idaho this last August! Nothing makes me happier than being a part of days for two people I adore, in places I adore. McCall is a little lake town about two hours north of where we live in Boise, and it’s become incredibly special to us too— as we’ve spent countless days there in all seasons. Not to mention there’s just something magical about it! So being a part of Alyssa + Waco’s day right on the lake amongst the tall pines— and capturing their story in the place that means so much to them too— was extra special. There were so many elements to Alyssa + Waco’s day that had my little photographer heart happy— Alyssa is a jewelry designer (Stardust Jewelry), and a freaking talented one at that (she’s made me three pairs of earrings now and I’m so obsessed!!)— so she made not only her own earrings for her wedding, but all of her bridesmaids too. They were dried floral hoop earrings?! You’ll see below and you’ll want a pair yourself! Paired with their mismatched boho floral dresses— it was a serious dream. Second— Alyssa’s dress and Waco’s suit?! I’ve never seen a teal suit before, and it was amazing. These two shared a first look in the woods and Waco could hardly hold it together :’) They got married on the point of the property in front of a beautiful handmade diamond arbor, and again, Waco could hardly hold it together and it was the sweetest thing I ever did see. They were so happy to finally be getting married. The rest of the night was spent eating the yummiest food catered by Horsewood Catering (but really, actually some of the tastiest food I’ve ever eat), and mingling with family and friends as the sun went down over the water. It was the perfect boho-forest-lake-side-wedding— enveloping all that these two are about. So happy to call Alyssa + Waco my friends, they were nothing but kind, tender, and just all around amazing to be around from the very beginning. Makes me so happy because we actually all live in the same city! 😉
