Boise, Idaho Autumn Maternity Session || Lauren + Garrick

The most colorful and beautiful maternity session ever!! Lauren and Garrick drove up from Utah to spend an evening with me for their maternity photos :’) They drove there and back in one day?! Just to have me document this precious time in their life. Maternity sessions are something that I’ve done a little bit more of this past year, and have loved every second of it. It’s always a challenge— so different from an engagement session or a wedding of course, and it’s been so fun to push myself in new creative ways to hopefully in turn make these soon to be mamas feel as beautiful as ever, and these soon to be parents know that they’ll be the best parents in the world to their little one. These moments are just as special as any other, such a big momentous time in life— and they deserve to be documented too.

It was nearing the end of summer in Idaho, so weather is always iffy!! Summer storms are still hit or miss, and one was rolling in that night! We almost thought about switching it, but went with it and rolled with it anyways and I’VE NEVER BEEN MORE HAPPY to have done so! Check out the images below to see why. The storm clouds above us made the changing colors of the foothills pop, and the sunset we were blessed with was one of the best I’ve seen! A perfect night to celebrate a new beginning 🙂 So so excited and happy for these two talented parents, their little girl is so lucky 🙂
