This was such a fun morning– and a morning that took place after some crazy storms earlier in the weekend. So being blessed with the weather we got, and the sunshine we got– just made this day extra special as Dusty and Dawn soaked in the fact that they were pregnant with a precious little boy ???? Which they’ve since then welcomed him into the world and hes the most perfect little being!!!!

I’ve known Dawn for a few years now– through her inspirational and beautiful photography work, attending workshops, and even teaching once at her very own workshop; and being asked to document one of the most important memories they have — was nerve wracking to say the least!! Doesn’t matter how many times it happens– shooting for a talented creative doesn’t ever get less nerve wracking to me 😉  But I was so excited to meet up with these two in one of their favorite little towns close to home, and document their pregnancy announcement for them to keep.

We met up in the tall pines of Sisters, Oregon– and ran around chasing the light with their two angel crazy pups as they soaked in every minute with their little one in Dawn’s belly!! It was such a fun time, and we ended at one of their FAVE lakes, which was BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, and we had completely to ourselves.

You can’t tell me that Dawn isn’t one of the prettiest mamas you’ve ever seen. And Dusty– you’re a cool dad too 😉
I couldn’t be happier for these two and their newest addition to their family– a long anticipated moment for them to have — their little boy Revan is the luckiest to have them.
