One thing that I specifically have to mention about this weekend with Christina and Blake:
They fed me the best food, and let me snuggle their puppy as much as I wanted.
That, is all I ask for.
No but really, this weekend with these two was so much fun and one I will always remember and cherish!
I flew into Ohio on a Friday evening, and we were planning to do their in-home portion of their shoot that night, but decided to just hang out, stay inside due to the MASSIVE blizzard that was going on, make delicious steak and potatoes (thanks Blake, crave that stuff every day), and watch literally no joke— 6 or 7 episodes of This is Us. Which is where the addiction started— Christina introduced me and I was hooked instantly.
It was the perfect beginning to their shoot— because we all go comfortable with each other and instantly a photoshoot turned into a friendship.
We woke up early the next morning to catch the sunrise— which there wasn’t really one haha— but still had a blast running around (and freezing together) Ohio, and then went back to their cute home with their cute pup, warmed up by the fire and had a cozy indoor session where they made yet again, the best eggs, potatoes and bacon, and just snuggled up on the couch with Penny (their pup whom Im now obsessed with), and had a perfect morning together. These were things that the two of them would do on any normal Saturday morning, and I am SO happy that they wanted those moments and memories captured in their first home, doing things that they would do on a regular basis.
Grateful for these two and their hearts— and cannot wait for their adventurous elopement this spring in Rocky Mountain National Park!
