This day for Kristina + Daniel was a long time coming! We were all counting down the days until their beautiful wedding at Oxford Barns in New England for months!

Chase and I first met Kristina and Daniel in Switzerland back in 2017. I had received an email from the cutest most energetic newly engaged girl, stating that if I were EVER over in their direction, they wanted to set up an engagement session. It just so happened that we were already planning a trip to Europe for March of 2017, just a few months after she had emailed me. Switzerland was on our list of places we were going to be, and just a little flight away for Kristina and Daniel. So, we met up in the Swiss alps for the first time, and ran around the steep hills tumbling around and learning all sorts of new slang from Kristina and Daniel. We were friends immediately and so when they reached out to me saying they wanted me to fly from Idaho to New England for their wedding in 2019, it was the fastest yes possible!!

These two and their families invited us in like family, let us stay on the venue property with them in the cutest little pods, and made sure we were so well taken care of the entire time. It’s so sad to see weddings come and weddings go, because a lot of the time that means theres the chance of never seeing or hanging out with my couples again. Especially those that live thousands of miles away. I like to pretend that that’s not the case though and that we’ll forever remain friends, which we will, right Kristina and Daniel? 😉

Their day was so laid back and low key, fitting to their personalities so well. It started off with the two of them getting ready separately, and seeing each other for the first time at the end of the aisle. Everyone was in tears when Kristina walked down the aisle— nobody could help it especially when they looked at Daniels sweetest reaction. Their ceremony took place in the quaintest little stone covered barn, and really it was breathtaking! After their ceremony was their long celebration of eating, dancing, running around sheep-poop covered fields (hahah), and just loving on the new life that they were starting together with their closest friends and family— who had all traveled so far to celebrate with them.

Kristina + Daniel, thank you for trusting a little ol’ Idaho girl to come all the way across the world to document your love and memories. This day will forever be special to Chase and I too!
