Granby Ranch Colorado Mountain Wedding

The most beautiful day at Granby Ranch for this mountain wedding in Colorado.  I’ve never been part of a day that was so God-centered and driven.  There was so much love and so much gratitude on this day that you could just FEEL it was right.  I didn’t know Emily + Matt prior, only through Facetiming, and I think I actually on face timed Emily when we did!  The second I got there it was like instant friends.  Honestly wish we lived closer to them so we could be real life hang out friends?? Wouldn’t be mad.  Emily is so laid back– just wanted a day for her and her guy in a beautiful place.  Didn’t care if anything went wrong, wanted to just go with the flow– cause they knew that today was just about the commitment to one another! Because of that, their day was perfect.

The perfect day.

We took a ski lift up to the top of a mountain in Colorado and Emily got ready with her best girls + family in a cute little yurt (DREAMS).  They wanted to do a traditional first look down the aisle, and MATT’S EXPRESSION when he saw his bride.  You can completely see the love he has for her in his face, honestly at all times?!  These two were such a dream to be around and so focused on all the right things– and who brought them to this day.  Their ceremony was full of prayers and thankfulness, tears and beautiful vows standing overlooking one of the most breathtaking views on the clearest day.  Matt surprised Emily with not one, but TWO wedding bands.  After their ceremony we ran around the aspens and edge of the mountain after their ceremony and then took the ski lift back down to the reception area (lodge) where they ended the evening.  Just hanging out, eating, and sharing words of affirmation that these two most definitely were meant for each other.

What a special day to be a part of.  I still think about Emily + Matt’s wedding day– is that weird?  To think about someones wedding day that isn’t even your own? haha. Grateful for Emily + Matt and so grateful for this day!  I only got to spend 5 hours with these two, but I love that we still talk as if it were more.

Also– one sec, Emily’s classy dress and veil? SWOON!
