McCauley Estate Vineyards California Wedding

Ahh love these two so much!! I was referred to Josie + Spencer by a past groom, and referrals are always my favorite because odds are friends of friends are similar, and we always get along so good!!

I first met up with Josie and Spencer in San Diego last Spring where we took their engagements. We weren’t blessed with the BEST weather, but they made the most of it anyways and it was a blast! It was so fun getting to know them better on this day!!

So many months of anticipation leading up to their wedding day, and it was always my favorite when I would randomly receive a text from Josie about her dress, invites, little details they were planning— it made me feel that much more involved!! And I love that about my bride and grooms. It’s always one of the things I miss most! Is just chatting every once in a while about the things they are excited about!!

The day came around, and it was beautiful beyond words. I met up with Josie + her girls the morning of and they had started off their day like they normally do— with CrossFit! I honestly thing it’s so important to start your day the way you normally would, on such a big day!! It makes you feel that much less stressed, and puts your body in the mentality and space that it normally is. You feel sooo much better if you do the same routines you do every day! They had such a chill and relax morning getting ready for their day (at least from my view haha!), and it was amazing!

We headed to the venue where they finished getting ready— the girls in a little suite and the guys in a bar/game room. The last moments before Josie + Spencer were going to see each other in their dress + suit for the first time! They had the sweetest first look together in the most beautiful area of McCauley Vineyards— and these twos’ personalities make me laugh so much. They’re so enjoyable to be around!! They had their ceremony shortly after which was filled with such promising + beautiful words, and some happy/excited tears— from Josie, family, and everybody in the bridal party. The long anticipated day for these two was finally here.

And one things for sure— Josie + Spencer sure know how to throw a party for all their family + friends 😉 It was one of the funnest evenings to be a part of, along with one of the most beautiful days. This was my last wedding of the 2019 Wedding Season, and my heart couldn’t have been happier to end it on theirs. They made it so fun, inviting, and never stressed about the little things— but focused on each other and what the day was about. Had SUCH a blast with these two, and I’m so grateful to call them my friends!!

Love them + their hearts!! Also, Josie has the most contagious smile ever?! Freaking prettiest!!
