Ketchum/Sun Valley is one of those jaw-dropping place that you just can’t get enough of. So this intimate destination wedding for Caity + Dan in the valley of rugged peaks was so special. They brought their family and friends from Florida to celebrate this special day with them, and to show off a little bit of Idaho’s beauty.

Upon meeting Caity + Dan in person, we clicked and connected instantly. I knew this would be the case because of the many emails + calls we had exchanged prior— but even more so did we click in person! They are two of the most easy going, fun, and full of life people I have ever met— and it was such an honor documenting their day. The day was intimate and intentional, and full of all the things that these two love. The morning consisted of Dan fishing along the river with his guys, and Caity getting ready in a pretty cabin with her girls. The ceremony took place in one of the many wide open fields with one of the most BEAUTIFUL backdrops that Ketchum has to offer. This spot was found after much google earth searching + in person location scouting, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Because they don’t get views like this in Florida, they wanted to be in an environment that offered magnificent views + peace. After these two were pronounced husband and wife, a random rainstorm rolled in with the sun beaming off of the pouring raindrops and it was MAGICAL to say the least!! Caity turned to me and said “wait can we go out there and run around?!” Don’t even ask me twice!! We took a few moments and they soaked up the sunshine rain and it came to be one of my favorite moments from the wedding day.

We spent the rest of the evening chasing the light as it hit the peaks and turned into shadows and night— and ended on the rooftop of Warfield in downtown Ketchum where they shared stories + ate the yummiest food with their people. It was such a joy getting to know Caity + Dan a little bit more in that time we spent together, and forever will cherish this day in the mountains with them!
