Ahh Zaynah and Cam— two of my favorite people! This day was so SO much fun along the West Coast in California. Their original date was supposed to be back in April, but travel was off limits due to COVID, so we switched their date to August!! They still got legally married in April, but the day they would celebrate would be in the summer 🙂 We shifted all of their original plans to late in the summer, and it was BEAUTIFUL. We got so lucky + blessed with how the day went about!

We flew in to California, and the day began with slipping on Zaynah’s dress in the Redwoods to have her first look with Cam! She had been writing letters to her future husband/Cam for years, that she had him open + read on their wedding day. It was so incredibly special and touching. We explored the Redwoods for a while as the light leaked through the trees, so peaceful and serene. The exchanged their vows at their FAVORITE viewpoint along the coast, a place they visited together for the first time when they first started dating. At which point Zaynah had a dress change, because she couldn’t decide which of the two she loved more!! haha. And I LOVE that detail from the day! Why not wear both!! We then made our way down to the beach, where we put together a cute little charcuterie picnic, and ran around until the sun dipped over the cliffs, dipping our toes in the sand + ocean waves. Rushing up to the viewpoint again for their first dance, the skies turned all sorts of pink + purple, creating the most magical first dance backdrop as husband and wife. These five hours spent with these two are some of my favorite!! Such a beautiful day for two even more beautiful people!
