Sunrise Bogus Basin, Idaho Engagements || Dawnya + Gunner

Dawnya and Gunner are two of the most genuine humans I have ever met. They have the biggest hearts and are just so gentle?! I first met Dawnya through a mentor session we had together— she came all the way from Southern Idaho (a good 4 hours away) to meet with me to learn all things business. Gunner joined her and meeting these two and seeing how they interact together— and how much Gunner loves Dawnya is the sweetest thing. A couple months went by, we stayed in touch, and she wanted to book a second follow up mentor session to start really implementing the things that she had learned during the first one! It just so happened that I needed a couple to model for a mentor session at sunrise with me— for the lovely Jordan Zemonek who came all the way from — like what in the world with all these traveling talented babes coming to learn from me?! I’m so honored! So these two came up the evening prior, and woke up at the crack of dawn to catch sunrise over the boise foothills with us. It was one of the prettiest most serene sunrises! Also, DAWNYA in that mustard yellow dress?! We were so obsessed! It was so fun photographing these two and watching them interact together. A spunky, energetic, gentle kind of love. They are obsessed with each other and I’m so here for it.

Absolutely love the friendships that mentor sessions bring me, both with Jordan and Dawnya— and all the other amazing people I get to teach + learn with too. It’s something I never thought I’d be doing, but have found so much joy and fulfillment in it, and it humbles me to no end!
