Holland Ranch California Wedding | Katie + Tanner

This was an anticipated day for such a long time! Tanner had actually emailed me prior to Katie, asking me if I could come to California to document their proposal! As much as we tried to make it work, sadly our schedules didn’t align so we couldn’t make it happen!! A few weeks later, Katie emails me telling me they’re finally officially engaged and are interested in me documenting one of their most precious days. Loved these two before we even hopped on the phone. I could just tell how full of life and excited these two were just through email, and how HAPPY they were. After emails and face-times back and forth about dates and venues, these two locked down a date and officially booked me as their wedding photographer and I couldn’t have been happier. So now the countdown was on until their wedding at Holland Ranch in California.

Their day was right after the workshop I co-host— in July it was in Juneau, Alaska— and I kept telling Katie that I had been looking forward to their day for so freaking long, that even after an exhausting (yet completely fulfilling week away from home— that blog post to come soon!), nothing made me happier than being there for them— and with them to celebrate.
There’s literally nowhere I would have rather been that weekend than documenting their day + hanging with all their family and friends. I headed to the girls house that morning and I was greeted with hugs and so many “we’ve heard so many good things about you, we have been dying for you to get here”— and seriously it just filled my cup to the brim. I am SO grateful for “client” *friends* like Katie and Tanner, whose family welcomes me in just the same too.

Katie + Tanner’s day was filled with so much emotion, love, BEAUTIFUL and stunning details, rad dance moves (see below they’re some of my faves ever), and just all around the best celebration and party there ever was. The Salvador’s + Peterson’s sure know how to throw a party, I wish I could attend every one??? So many sweet words were exchanged, tears shed, letters swapped, and big embraces given— you knew that these two families were meant to join together. Holland Ranch was the PERFECT venue to bring Katie + Tanner’s vision to life— seriously such a dream!! Still swooning over all the details and Katie’s dress + veil— not to mention the cutest black leather jackets. The team that made this all happen was absolutely incredible!

Katie and Tanner— forever thankful you trusted me to capture such a precious day for the both of you. Forever grateful it brought us together as friends now :’) You two are so sweet, have the raddest style I know, loving, full of radiating happiness— and just want everyone else around you to be having a good time and be happy too. Love you both long time!! Just trynna sneak my way into all the parties you have now!!
