Kristina + Tyler’s wedding was the last wedding of the year for me, and it was the absolute perfect wedding to wrap up an amazing year with.
This year was my first year being a “full-time” photographer, and I can’t even being to express my gratitude to all of my amazing couples who trusted me so much with their day, their love, and their hearts. I am so blessed and I truly value every memory I am a part of.
Kristina is actually my cousins husband— so my cousin by marriage 🙂 Over the last few years I’ve gotten to know Kristina, and along side her I’ve gotten to know her now husband, Tyler.  These two are undoubtedly some of the most genuine and kind-hearted people I know, and am lucky enough to be in the same family with.  Kristina has a spirit about her that is positive, heart-warming, and so contagious— she’s the kind of girl you just want to be around at all times because life just feels happier.  And there isn’t another guy out there that compliments that better than Tyler.  Every time we would see Tyler and Kristina, Chase (my husband), would always say that he hopes Tyler would be part of the family some day.  He’s got such an approachable and loving personality— and the way he looks at Kristina every single time, you can tell he just is overflowing with love for her.  I feel lucky to have been the one to capture their day.
These two (mostly Tyler I believe) is absolutely OBSESSED with everything Christmas, so what better time to have a wedding than a week before Christmas, and a theme that revolves around Christmas?! It’s the happiest time of year, so it only makes sense to have the happiest day around the happiest time of year. Their first look will tug at your heart strings— Tyler pretty much melted in Kristina’s arms when he saw her as a few tears welled up in his eyes.  He gave her the most meaningful bracelet during their first look— a beautiful handwritten note in her great grandmothers handwriting as a forever keepsake. Every detail and every moment made up who these two were together so perfectly.  A wedding full of so many joyful tears, strings and strings of dreamy christmas lights, Santa for the kids, the most beautiful vows exchanged, and endless smiles and laughter throughout the entire night— this wedding was the best ending to my 2017.
