Amanda + Mathias.  One of my favorite favorite FAVORITE couples from 2018 (who am I kidding they’re all my favorite). I have never received such kind words after delivering galleries than I did with these two. They went so far out of their way to have me document their memories because they were so set on me being the one to capture them.  That kind of love means the world to me. These two incredible, smart, dedicated, hard-working, genuine, adventurous humans— made me love my job 40x more this year. We took their engagements in the Sawtooth National Forest (see here), where they came all the way from Washington to make it happen.  They then tied the knot in yet another beautiful mountainous place.  Right outside of the Tetons where they both are from.

A wedding in the Tetons

The Tetons are a pretty short drive from where I live, so it’s by far one of my favorite places to visit when I can.  Amanda is one of the happiest humans I have ever met, and the love that Mathias has for her is so sweet.
I drove to the Tetons the morning of their wedding and met them at the beautiful Airbnb they had rented for their day. The Airbnb had an incredible view of the backside of the Tetons which thankfully wasn’t too covered in smoke from summer fires.  They greeted me yet again with open arms and such enthusiasm to have me there. Their wedding had the most INCREDIBLE set up from Wild Blume. Complete with a handmade GIANT triangle arbor covered in so much pampas grass.  Not to mention Amanda’s jaw dropping two piece dress.  We ran around in barley fields all night long as the sun set.   Which they then continued to dance the night away as the sky turned turquoise and the world turned to a painting.  It was the most beautiful day witnessing these two become husband and wife. Forever wishing my “clients” could be my best friends but somehow we always live so far apart??
