These two babes renewed their vows in ALASKA. They are already probably the coolest couple (just look at them!) and the fact that they wanted to renew their vows in such an epic place just made them even cooler!
Cassie + Matt saw that Peyton and I would be in Alaska for our very first Wild & Unwritten (check it out, it was so much fun! *shameless plug*), so they wanted the both of us to document their vow renewal on their trip there. It was such a fun thing to plan and execute— it was such a special day.  This Hatchers Pass vow renewal will always have a special place in my heart!

One Epic Vow Renewal

The day before our workshop, we met up with them at Hatchers Pass and we got sooo lucky with weather. We were in Alaska during their “rainy season” so the fact that we could see all of the Pass was a miracle! They wanted their vow renewal to be THEM.  They wanted to incorporate all that they love about each other. And it was just that. They helped each other get ready in front of the cute little red cabins to start off.  We then ran around green open mountain fields where they exchanged the sweetest words after being together for two years.
There isn’t a wrong or a right time to do a vow renewal, honestly the more the merrier? Why not take a trip, make some memories, and express how much you love your person in epic places more than once every ten years? These two are making it tradition to do just that in places they’ve never tread— and that’s pretty freakin cool.
It was so much fun to shoot alongside my little business partner Peyton Byford (whose too good beyond words) and to be a part of something so fun and special.
