Ahh what an incredible road trip! Last December during the Holidays, I did a series of giveaways/discounts.  One of them was a Pacific Northwest Roadtrip with my husband and I!  A planned trip, a place to stay, and a full 2 days of adventuring in the Pacific Northwest (with 3 different location shoots) was offered as the prize!

I was blown away by how many entries I received and it made me so stoked.  Autumn + Ian were picked from the random drawing, and I don’t think it could have been more perfect!  Autumn herself is a photographer down in Utah (if you haven’t checked her out yet, you definitely should–she took pictures of my husband and I on this trip too and I am so so grateful! www.autumngreyphotography.com )

They drove up from Logan, UT, met us at our home at midnight Thursday night and we took off early Friday morning for our adventure throughout Oregon.

We trekked, more like slid, down incredibly muddy and slick trails to Abiqua Falls, and got DRENCHED.  But what else is to be expected?

We ran in the rain and sunshine on the beaches of Cannon Beach and Hug Point, getting soaked again,

and then we finally had a dry day at the Painted Hills of Oregon on our way home.  It was so amazing seeing all of these places that I had been dying to see for the longest time, and even more so being able to capture Autumn + Ians love in the midst of it all.  It was such a good time getting to know these two (the most humble humans ever), and being able to escape to some of the best places for an entire weekend.  Nothing short of a dream come true.  More adventures and weekend shoots like this please.
